Seafood Shipping Rates and Requirements

How to guarantee your gift arrives on the date you request??

"Shipping" Monday through Friday for "delivery" Tuesday through Saturday only via Fed Ex Standard overnight service (all items are tagged "OK TO LEAVE AT THE DOOR" for your convenience)-see details for Saturday deliveries below. Upon entering your order on-line you will be asked for a "delivery date" (not ship date) that you would like to have your gift received, as well as your personalized greeting card message (if a gift). On the day your package ship's from our facility you will receive an email by 5pm with the Fed Ex airway bill so you can track the shipment on www.fedex.com to varify delivery of your package for the next day at your leisure.

We can take orders up to 3 months in advance for your convenience!!!!

The Fresh Lobster Company "WILL NOT" BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAY'S DUE TO WEATHER,ETC INCURRED BY FED EX. ANY DELAY'S SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO FED EX DIRECTLY. ALL PACKAGES ARE PACKAGED IN CASE OF FED EX DELAY TO LAST 48HRS IN SHIPPING COOLER/CONTAINER IN CASE OF A WEATHER DELAY.

SHIPPING CHARGES: Fed Ex Standard overnight delivery shipping charges for example: from 1 lb up to 12 lb's of product is $44.50 total shipping charge, with a small increase per lb after 12 lb's of product. Upon entering your order a "SHIPPING CHARGE" will be calculated for all orders "BEFORE COMPLETION" for your approval. This will occur prior to requesting your credit card information (all shipping charges are determined by qty and weight of items ordered). All items ship Fed Ex Standard overnight delivery to arrive between the hours of 9am-4:30pm and will be "TAGGED OK TO LEAVE AT THE DOOR" to insure your delivery arrives on time as you've requested (Saturday deliveries by 1pm). All items "MUST" ship Fed Ex overnight on "ALL" orders to insure fresh and live produce.
Saturday deliveries are available in "most" areas. Only Saturday delivery orders "cannot" be placed online! Please call us directly at 1-508-451-2467 to place your "Saturday delivery" orders. (see contact page for hours of operation). All Saturday delivery orders "must" be quoted a "shipping price" to your determined shipping location with one of our customer service reps upon placing your order (usually only an extra $20. which will be added to the normal shipping charge).

"SAME DAY SHIPPING FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY NOW AVAILABLE" IF ORDERED BEFORE 12:30pm (EST)EASTERN/BOSTON TIME FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY!!!(Shipping Monday thru Friday only for Tues thru Saturday delivery only). CANCELLATION POLICY: ** ANY CANCELLATIONS WILL INCURR A 6% HANDLING/PROCESSING FEE WHICH WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL CREDIT REQUESTED OF THE PREVIOUSLY ORDERED ITEM(S). NO PENALTY WILL INCURR IF THE ORDER IS "POSTPONED/DELAYED OR DATE OF SHIPMENT IS CHANGED" AND THE ORDER WILL REMAIN OPENED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY THE ORDERER.

GIFT BASKETS: All pre-configured gift baskets are priced with shipping charges included. There are no shipping charges added when a gift basket is ordered.

For some "remote" areas where normal overnight service is not available an additional charge may need to be applied in order to deliver your items in a timely fashion (you will be notified directly if this occurs "prior" to any charges or processing of the order for your approval).

All packages are shipped via fed ex and tagged “ok to leave” to insure delivery at your residence without a signature (business deliveries will require a signature).

Our packages are packaged in a Styrofoam cooler with plenty of frozen jell packs and seaweed to keep your items alive and fresh upon arrival. We strongly suggest letting the “receiver” know about your gift on the day it is to be received to insure the items are brought into the home or business on a timely basis to insure lively seafood.

The Fresh Lobster Company will not be responsible for items that are exposed to the hot weather elements for a "prolonged period of time" due to the neglect of the recipient.

All shipments must ship Next Day Air service to guarantee freshness. All packages containing live produce, it is "suggested" they be prepared the day your package arrives however can be kept another day or so if refrigerated properly.

If you are unsure of your recipients plans, we recommend a gift certificate. All gift packages are best consumed the day of delivery (see preparation instructions that are included with all packages).

For local deliveries and/or pickups (Gloucester, Rockport and Manchester only) there is no shipping/handling charge. All orders must be received at least one day prior to requested pickup/delivery.

No signature required for deliveries to private residences, only to businesses will a signature be required.

Major holidays and weather conditions may change delivery availability. Order early to place a holiday order.

Insure accuracy of information when placing order(s). We are not responsible for incorrect delivery address's provided by the purchaser.
