SHIPPING CHARGES: Fed Ex Standard overnight delivery shipping charges / plane ride (Tues thru Friday delivery) for example: from 1 lb to 10 lb's of product is $52.00 total
"overnight" shipping charge. We will "ship" the day "prior" to your requested "delivery date" via overnight delivery so your items arrive on the "date of your request". For shipments to be delivered "WITHIN MASSACHUSSETTS" - the overnight delivery charge is reduced to only $32.00)
A "DROP DOWN CALENDAR" shall appear during the "checkout process" to select your "delivery date". There is a small shipping increase per pound after 10 pounds of product. Upon entering your order, a "SHIPPING CHARGE" will be calculated for all orders "BEFORE COMPLETION" for your approval. This will occur "prior" to requesting your credit card information (all shipping charges are determined by qty and weight of the total items ordered). All food items ship Fed Ex Standard overnight delivery to arrive between the hours of 9am-4:30pm (Tues thru Friday deliveries) and will be "TAGGED OK TO LEAVE AT THE DOOR" to insure your delivery arrives on time as you've requested.
ALL "SATURDAY DELIVERY REQUESTS" WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL $15. DELIVERY CHARGE TO THE REGULAR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY CHARGE. (check the "Saturday delivery" box in "RED BOLD" as prompted during checkout for Saturday delivery).

How to make sure your package arrives on the date of your request?
During checkout you shall be prompted for a "delivery date" (not ship date) you would like to have your package received. We shall ship your items the day prior to your delivery date via Fed Ex overnight service so they arrive on the "delivery date" of your request.
We can take orders up to 3 months in advance for your convenience (store will ask you for requested "delivery/receive date" during checkout process).

On the date of your scheduled shipment a "Fed Ex Notification" email with your Fed Ex tracking number shall be sent to the "bill to" email address you've provided per your order by 5pm EST/Boston time for your convenience. The Fed Ex tracking# can be verified on www.fedex.com for your convenience to verify your shipment has been sent and delivered to the "ship to" address provided. Our packages are packaged in a Styrofoam cooler with plenty of frozen jell packs and seaweed to keep your items alive and fresh upon arrival. We suggest letting the “receiver” know about your gift on the day it is to be received to insure the items are brought into the home on a timely basis to insure lively seafood. ALL PACKAGES ARE PACKAGED IN CASE OF DELAY TO LAST 48HRS IN SHIPPING COOLER/CONTAINER PROVIDED TO INSURE "LIVE PRODUCE" UPON RECEIPT IN CASE OF A WEATHER DELAY.
The Fresh Lobster Company can not and will not be responsible for incorrect delivery address's, causing non delivery, due to the address given by the orderer!

If you are unsure of your recipient's plans, we recommend a gift certificate. All gift packages are best consumed the day of delivery (see preparation instructions that are included with all packages).
We strongly suggest letting the “receiver” know about your gift on the day it is to be received to insure the items are brought into the home or business on a timely basis to insure lively seafood.
All "seafood/food" shipments must ship Fed Ex Standard Next Day Air service to guarantee freshness. All packages containing live produce, it is "suggested" they be prepared the day your package arrives however can be kept another day or so if refrigerated properly.

CANCELLATION POLICY: ** NO SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS ON THE DAY OF SCHEDULED SHIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED DUE TO THE ACQUIRING OF FRESH PRODUCTS DIRECT FROM OUR LOCAL FISHERMEN ETC. ANY CANCELLATIONS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF SHIPMENT WILL INCURR A 6% HANDLING/PROCESSING FEE WHICH WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL CREDIT REQUESTED OF THE PREVIOUSLY ORDERED ITEM(S). NO PENALTY WILL INCURR IF THE ORDER IS "POSTPONED/DELAYED OR DATE OF SHIPMENT IS CHANGED" PRIOR TO 12PM EST/BOSTON TIME AND THE ORDER AND CHARGES WILL REMAIN OPENED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE UNTIL NOTIFIED BY THE ORDERER FOR A FUTURE DELIVERY DATE.
