The sandcasting process and polishing by hand in Mexican factories renders each piece unique.

• Distinguishing surface characteristics range from antiqued or high gloss, to abundantly sculpted or cleanly polished expanses.
• Mexican sandcast aluminum may have pits and cooling or buffing marks.
• Occasionally you might find polishing compound on a piece; it can easily be wiped clean. Periodically apply an even coat of mineral oil to the surface with a soft cloth. Allow the oil to soak in for a few minutes then remove surface oil with a clean, dry cloth.

• Slight cooling and buffing marks are a natural result of handcrafting.
